And we are back with two for Tuesday, with two refreshing options to hopefully distract us from this oppressively humid weather. First awesomeness I want to tell you about this week And when I say this week I really do mean this week, i'm talking. This is coming right up. This is coming up Thursday, june 29th. That's when women for healthy rural living will be holding a fundraiser at Fogtown Brewing in Ellsworth, maine, in support of their outdoor women lead program, aka OWL, and their Owlette summer camp for girls. So if you're local or happen to be near Acadia this week on vacay, i hope you'll stop by Fogtown between 5pm and 7pm on Thursday to try out their special new spritzer, made from ingredients foraged by OWL volunteers and harvested from the incredible, edible Millbridge Gardens. There will be non-alcoholic and alcoholic versions of this special elixir available. So if you like rhubarb, roses and rosemary, you will have some major league refreshment in store, all supporting a great cause. Check out my links in the show notes for more info. Okay, on to number two for this Tuesday Get that PFD ready.

The diversify whitewater community river float is coming right up. After that, on Saturday, july 8th, this free, fun-filled day of paddling and celebrating with BIPOC, queer and allied paddlers will be held at VZ Salmon Club on the Penobscot River, just north of Bangor, maine. Diversity whitewater is a national non-profit working to increase and celebrate BIPOC participation in paddling through free events like this. No experience is required. You can sign up to participate or volunteer, and all who want to support more diversity in outdoor spaces are more than welcome and we hope you'll join them.

I put a bit of info and the registration link in the show notes and on the Guides Gone Wild Instagram page today, so if you follow us there it's easy to click through. Otherwise, go to bitly forward slash DW Maine to register or email acstrong at packraftmecom to sign up and get your questions answered. That's all for now. We're going to push pause on two for Tuesday next week so I can focus on family and flipping burgers over the fourth. But I'll be back in your earbuds before you know it with another inspiring guide guest. So don't worry, be happy and keep it wild.
